You Know You're a Teacher When...

I have been more recently catching myself saying "you know you're a teacher when..." and thought it an appropriate time to start keeping a record of all the little "you know when's..." of teaching.


You know you're a teacher when...

• you find yourself saying "I still have five minutes..."
• you have been working for 13 hours, are leaving past dinner time, and have to talk yourself out of leaving with a bag of papers
  
• a common phrase to your family and friends is "nice try, I really like how you..."
